Drive-Thru

MicroSale’s Drive-Thru features allow orders to be quickly and accurately timed, bagged, and sold whether you have a single Drive-Thru window, multiple windows, or multiple lanes.

The left displays a quick service restaurant with MicroSale’s order confirmation board.

Confirmation boards and rear displays can be programmed to synchronize with menu items on the cashier’s screen.

The confirmation board or rear display will prompt an item to complement the item that is being ordered.  For example, after a three piece combo is rang in, the display will show a picture of dessert.

Break in Order

This function is for customers that bypass the speaker and place an order at the payment window.  After the order is taken, the cashier is prompted directly to the payment screen.  In the kitchen and the bagging area, this order will flash in a red box before the other orders to show that a “break in” order has been taken.  The flashing box alertsstaff and enables both the kitchen and cashiers to keep the orders in the correct sequence.

Pay at the Window

Quickly close out the car at the window while continuing to take an order from the speaker.

In the lower left corner of the order screen, a black box will appear that says “Pay Car @ Window”.  This function allows cashiers to close checks that are at the window while still keeping the order screen open and taking orders from the speaker.  Pay at the window lowers the need for a dual screen terminal.

Park Car

MicroSale’s Park Car function allows a customer to pull up ahead of the drive thru window to wait for food that is taking longer than average.  On the top of the drive thru screen, the time will show how long the customer has been waiting.  By touching “Park Car” the timer will stop, representing that the customer has been helped.
