Reservations and Wait List

MicroSale’s reservation and waitlist module is included in the system.  The module allows you to improve efficiency and decrease stress during a busy rush. A hostess or any staff member is able to take reservations for any time or day from a workstation. Using the table layout, a hostess can determine the wait time for the next available table based on the colored status of seated tables on the floor.

This feature has the ability to send confirmation emails, auto queue reservations onto the wait list, and send text message alerts to a waiting party’s cell phone; replacing the need for a third-party paging system.

Using any terminal in the system a reservation may be taken for any day in the future.

After the reservation is saved and an email address is entered, the customer will receive a confirmation email

 

Reservations will display on the hostess screen 1 hour ahead of their stated arrival time. They will then be displayed along with other reservations and people in the waiting list.

Once ready to be seated, the hostess touches the person’s name and then can seat the party at their table.
