Setting up Discounts
Please follow the steps below for ‘quick discounts’, for further details, please download the Discounts document.
Takes 10% off Entire Check
- Type in the name “Military 10%” or another name of your choosing
- Set the type to Discount Percentage
- Set the amount to 10
- Set the access to Manager or another access level of your choice
- Use the category of Discount
- Save
Takes 100% off of One Single Item
- Type in the name “Manager Meal” or another name of your choosing
- Set the type to Discount Percentage
- Set the amount to 100
- Set the access to Manager or another access level of your choice
- Use the category of Discount
- Select the button “Menu Items” – “Assign All” or specific items of your choosing
- Select Items Needed to Match Per Transaction to 1
- Save
- Type in a descriptive name such as $2 OFF
- Set the type to Discount Amount
- Set the amount to the dollar amount that needs to be discounted off the check
- Set the Access Level to “Manager” or another access that should be able to apply the discount
- Set the category to Discount or Coupon (depending on where you would like this discount to show on reports)
- Save
- Exit
